光绪元宝江南省造是清朝发行的一种货币，诞生于光绪年间，当时江西省埋藏在大清王朝，铸造钱币的技术是世界上最有名的，所以江南省的光绪元宝在市场上的价格也很高，顺治年间，顺治皇帝下令设立江西省，清朝时又称江宁府邸，也就是现在的南京。康熙年间，江西省又进行了一次改革，到了光绪年间，主要是铸造货币，这才有了今天江南省制造的光绪元宝。

河南的光绪元宝是非常特别的，可以说是独一无二的，与其它省份不同的是，在光绪的中央，没有“花”和“满文”，只有河南省的中央，没有任何的例外!两者都很容易分辨，但在后背上，有实眼水龙和有眼圈的水龙并不少见，其余都是极为稀少的!而河南的光绪元宝，质量普遍偏低，好货少，更是难上加难!而与一条龙相配的光绪元宝，更是别具一格，龙尾不起浪，号称河南的旱龙，也是河南的一大特色!这两枚钱币铸造量存世量都比较稀有，一直以来都是钱币市场比较火热的。
