宣德炉的创作是中国历史上第一次运用黄铜铸成铜器。为制作精品的铜炉，明朝宣德皇帝曾亲自督促，这在历史上实属少见。这件宣德炉以黄铜制成，双耳为两条螭龙自炉壁向上攀爬，前爪攀附于炉沿，底书“宣德年制”篆书款，带底座。其炉身形制规整，敦厚之中不失灵巧精致，作为书房陈设颇为雅致。焚香其内，数百年历史的厚重感随香外溢。它通体光素，尽显铜炉精纯美质，铜质精良，入手沉甸。且品相完好，相当珍贵。Xuan de Lu's creation was the first time in Chinese history that brass was used to cast bronze ware. Emperor Xuande of the Ming Dynasty personally urged the production of high-quality copper furnaces, which is rare in history. This Xuande stove is made of brass. Its ears are two dragons climbing up from the furnace wall, and its front claws are attached to the furnace edge. The bottom is written with a seal script of "Xuande year system", with a base. Its stove body is regular, unsophisticated and exquisite. As a study, it is quite elegant.
