Description

Inscription: At the age of 40, Zhao Ji, Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty, wrote the last 24 characters and year of the "Thousand Character Script" in cursive script. The brush washer of this Ru kiln is of a large size, with a diameter of 19.5 centimeters, complete and flawless, with a thin tire, beautiful lines, and thick coating. The bottom feet are curled and the cicada wing pattern is clearly layered. The original "Fenghua" design was engraved on the bottom of the brush wash. The Fenghua Palace was the most important palace during the reign of Emperor Huizong of Song, and was later engraved with two serial numbers. The fragrant gray tire was visible, and five sesame nails were evenly distributed at the bottom. The agate sky blue glaze was thick, and the knocking sound was dull (due to the semi cooked firing mode of Ru kiln porcelain, the sound was like knocking on wood.
