Huang Binhong (1865-1955), originally named Maozhi, later changed his name to Zhi, with the courtesy name Pucun and the courtesy name Binhong. He was also given the name Xiang. Male, originally from She County, Huizhou, Anhui Province, born in Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province. Chinese modern and contemporary Chinese painter, skilled in painting landscapes, is a great master of landscape painting. He is also a calligrapher, collectively known as the "Four Masters of 20th Century Scholar Calligraphy" along with Bai Jiao, Gao Ershi, and Li Zhimin. Formerly served as the president of China Art College, served as a member of the second National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and a director of the China Artists Association after the liberation.
