Liu Haisu (March 16, 1896 – August 7, 1994), Han ethnicity, named Pan, with the courtesy name Ji Fang and the nickname Haiweng, has always been rooted in Chinese painting tradition and constantly incorporates cutting-edge Western artistic concepts into his creations. Throughout his life, he explored the path of integrating Chinese and Western art concepts, and his artistic language continued to evolve and mature along this path, eventually becoming a school of art.
