Description
During the reign of Emperor Qianlong, intricate patterns were highly valued, and the traditional style of blue and white porcelain was even more so. This vessel is in the shape of a plum vase, elegant and dignified, handsome and beautiful, and is a classic display style that has been passed down for thousands of years. The fetal material is firm and white, delicate and moist. The mouth is decorated with a banana leaf pattern around it; The shoulders and abdomen are fully decorated with patterns, with blue and white patterns of entangled branches, and dragon and fire patterns painted in alum red. The overall complexity is impenetrable, and almost the entire porcelain surface shows dragon patterns interspersed and flying among the flowers. Although complex, it does not appear disorderly, reflecting a complex beauty. Dragon is often used to refer to the "emperor". In the painting, it is a flying dragon of nine sizes, both old and young, with movements full of tension, rotating and flipping, each with majestic postures. One symbolizes "the dragon educating children", and the other expresses a beautiful vision of praying for "many children and many blessings" with numerous descendants. The bottom shows the seal script style of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty.
