Description

Its entire body is covered with pink blue glaze and decorated with relief dragon godson cloud patterns, which are rare and have been passed down from generation to generation. For Emperor Qianlong, the picture of the Canglong educating his son was a thought-provoking portrait. The two dragons shuttle between the sea of clouds, symbolizing Qianlong's high expectations for the Qing Dynasty and reminding him of the heavy responsibilities he bears as a father and a ruler of a country. In the 38th year of the Qianlong reign, Emperor Hongli secretly established a reserve and decided to pass on the throne to his fifteenth son Yongyan, later known as Emperor Jiaqing. Although Emperor Qianlong did not publicly disclose his identity as the crown prince, in actual affairs, he placed great importance on Yongyan and always focused on teaching and nurturing this son. In the 60th year of the Qianlong reign, although Emperor Gaozong Hongli abdicated to Yongyan, he continued to train in politics as the Supreme Emperor until his death, which also reflected his emphasis on "educating his son.". The powder blue porcelain of the Qianlong Dynasty, with the theme of educating children with the dragon, has a higher significance for collection.
