The Guangxu Yuanbao made in Qingjiang was minted and issued by the Qingjiang Copper Yuan Bureau. It was the only copper coin in the Qing Dynasty that was not named after a province. After being merged into the Jiangnan Mint, the Qingjiang Copper Yuan Bureau lasted for three years, which can be said to be extremely short. Due to its very short casting time, the remaining Qingjiang made Guangxu ingot is very rare and of great market value, and its presence is now difficult to see in auctions.
