Description

"Da Ming Yongle Nian Shi" single line six character regular script payment This lot is exquisitely made. The whole picture is embroidered with gold thread and colorful silk thread. The floor is made of dark green river silk. It is embroidered with graceful and regular grass patterns, and outlined with gold thread. In the center of the thangka, the Red Yan Mo enemy appeared angry, holding the pale red body of the Empress Vajra Bodali Buddha Mother. The Empress's left leg wrapped around the Red Yan Mo enemy's waist. Red Yan Mo Di raised his right hand high above the top, waving a heavenly staff adorned with various colored human heads and a diamond pestle. His left arm tightly embraced his concubine, holding a Gabala bowl (also known as a skull bowl). The two of them stepped on the Blue Body Death God, while the latter wore a tiger skin skirt at the waist and a treasure crown on the head, prostrating on the brown crouching bull back on a colorful lotus throne. The latter was a mount for the Ming King and the Ming Consort. There are two rows of Tathagatas and Bodhisattvas sitting on lotus seats on the top edge of the thangka. The leftmost row in the top row is the Vajra of Heluga and the rightmost row is the Manjusri Bodhisattva. In the middle is the Five Wisdom Tathagatas, namely the Bodhisattva of Bodhisattva, Avalokitesvara Buddha, Vairocana Buddha, Amitabha Buddha, and Vajrayana Buddha. The leftmost part of the lower row is green Tara, and the rightmost part is white Tara. At the bottom of the thangka, there are seven offerings of heavenly maidens dancing on the lotus throne, holding a sacrificial plate filled with offerings high in one hand. Tangka is adorned with yellow edges and embroidered with diamond pestle patterns. Under the white tara in the upper right corner of the thangka, a single line six character regular script with gold thread was embroidered on red satin, titled "Da Ming Yongle Nian Shi". This thangka is adorned with a Qing Dynasty silk border.
