Description

Meteorites refer to fragments from other celestial bodies in the solar system outside of Earth, with the vast majority coming from asteroids in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter in the solar system, and a few from celestial bodies such as the Moon and Mars. Stone meteorites are a major type of meteorite discovered. A general term for meteorites composed mainly or entirely of silicate minerals, especially iron magnesium silicates, with metal iron nickel content less than 30%. This collection consists of two pieces with different shapes, naturally formed.
