This set of five Song Dynasty colored and gilded five-tiger general-patterned Yuhuchun vases is made of celadon glaze from the Qingliang Temple of the Northern Song Dynasty. The vases feature regular shapes, with the body painted with famous historical figures from the Three Kingdoms period: Zhang Fei, Guan Yu, Ma Chao, Huang Zhong, and Zhao Yun, totaling five figures. The craftsmanship is exquisite, and the glaze is vibrant. The painted figures on Ru kiln vases are extremely rare and precious. The base of the vases bears the mark "Made by the Imperial Kiln of Qingliang Temple, Ru Kiln, Great Song Dynasty," further confirming their production in an official imperial kiln.
